Workplace Neurodiversity Champions

Does your organisation champion neurodiversity?

Right Resources helping organisations become more; 'accessible', 'people friendly' and productive workplaces.

Whether you are just starting on your ‘neurodiversity awareness journey’ or you are looking to develop skills to enable you to move from awareness to taking positive action… we are here to help.

As the Chinese proverb says… ‘A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step’.

Champion Neurodiversity

Do you provide a 'safe' and supportive, impartial access point where people can obtain accurate, useful information about neurodivergent conditions and what support is available to them in the workplace?

If the answer is 'yes' - that's great... and we're pleased you are working  with one of the increasing number of organisations where they see neuroinclusion as a vitally important component for a thriving and productive neurodiverse workplace.

However, if the answer to these questions is 'no'... or 'not yet',  this training programme may be of interest to you and your colleagues especially if you are looking for a recognised qualification and CPD.

This OCN level 2 accredited training programme builds on our highly successful Dyslexia Champions training course - and the name of the programme acknowledges the time is now right for our Champions training to be re-branded to reflect it's Neurodiversity-focused position along with the certified accreditation entitled: 'Neurodiversity - Pathways to Support'.

(We believe it's fair to say that when we first piloted and launched Dyslexia Champions with staff at Imperial College, back in 2017, only those involved in our area of work were familiar with the word neurodiversity and neuroinclusive practice - which very much influenced our choice for the name of the programme.  However our Champions training has always been neurodiversity-focused and has always covered the more common neurodivergent conditions).

Some organisations will deliver neurodiversity awareness training 'in-house' and this works well if the member of staff has undertaken the relevant accredited training - if not there is the risk of misinformation becoming widespread across the organisation.  There are therefore benefits to having training delivered by a specialist organisation as this helps to ensure future actions are founded on accurate information about neurodivergent conditions, in terms of the strengths and potential challenges as well as providing clarity on what workplace support is available to staff.

Ideally, this should look at what is available 'in-house' and what individuals should be able to access in national terms...including understanding the legal perspective.

Helping organisations understand neurodiversity and optimise the skills of each and every member of the workforce.

If you're looking for qualified, experienced neurodiversity - focused services... and accredited training.
